Introduction to the Series
Business fundamentals have been the same since the beginning of commerce. The true fundamentals are not anything you do; as some type of technique, although 'doing' is in the nature of a professional. The real fundamentals are who you are, and who you become.
Since I'm a big fan of series, I want to introduce you to 17 principles in developing unshakable character. These principles will contribute to great professional success.
The Greatest Benefit
In order to receive the greatest benefit from this series: after being introduced to the character or behavioral principles, think on paper of how you can apply it in your current environment.
Don't fall into the trap of 'I already do that.' evaluate how the principle can be used more in your life. The focus is 100% saturation of each principle before moving on. Aim to have congruence of character.
The Third Principle is Attitudinal:
The way you can promote yourself in business is to pick a direction or purpose and then 'Go The Extra Mile.' There is nothing that will give you a better chance at attracting the best customers, or opportunities than going the distance. Business will give back what you put in. It is up to you to use the law of reciprocity to your advantage.
Consistently increase the value you contribute, learn to perform better, work on your communication, work on your leadership, work on your business disciplines, and skills and give, give, give. In the process of giving you will not only find new opportunities, but build better skills; management skills, leadership skills, business skills, and communication skills. The more you give the more effective you will be at contributing value.
Think about Serving
Evaluate your business model, specifically your protocol around customer fulfillment or customer service or leadership. If there is anything that will perfect how you play the business game it is the ability to get better at serving and value creation. Be convinced that there is reward on the other side of service and you will be amazed when it comes.
Think through how you are creating value, and ask how can you improve on this? There is always a better way of doing things.
It is what you give that entitles you to receive.
Having your FREE evaluation with a business coach is a $500 value.
